Managing Volume With TOPICS: Part Two [Go to Part One]

by Simeon Nevel [snevel@sonic.net]

Now, the "rules:"

1) As a courtesy to your fellow subscribers, please tag your off-topic and Bunnies Chatting (as defined above) messages.

2) If your reply to an ongoing thread has become off-topic, please add the "OT:" tag to the subject. You might also change the subject to reflect the current content of the thread.

3) Please use your best judgement in the grey areas. If you're sending vibes for an individual, please consider adding the "OT:" tag to the subject of your reply.

I'm not going to slap anybody's wrist for neglecting to tag their messages.

I don't want anybody starting threads (tagged OT or not) about whether some other message should have been tagged.

I don't want "OT:" tags or lack thereof to become a source of dissension on the list. Just be courteous about it and use common sense.

Unhappily, people getting the digest CAN NOT take advantage of topics. The digest always contains every message posted to PetBunny.

If you have any questions or concerns about this, speak up.
